Native Bloom is an online surplus flower delivery service operating in the Greater Seattle area. Our mission is to repurpose surplus flowers, typically discarded, into surprise seasonal bouquets. We aim to ethically source flowers from local farmers, preserving biodiversity through vetted partnerships. Additionally, we strive to minimize our carbon footprint by utilizing a delivery fleet comprising cargo bikes and electric vehicles.

Research
Our research focused on "no customization" business models across various direct-to-consumer websites. In the flower market, a lack of transparency regarding sourcing and delivery processes was found. This prompted our content strategy to innovate on traditional flower delivery websites by addressing transparency gaps rather than merely showcasing arrangements.
Brand Development
We created Native Bloom, a website designed with the Seattle customer in mind. Our content tells our story and answers common questions about our "no choice" business model. Our sustainability practices are clearly shown, and to ensure a consistent look, we used AI to generate a matching library of images. Native Bloom Breaks away from typical flower delivery sites' visual approach by using a unique dark interface.
